Direct Connect

Dr. Lory Morrow Continues Listening and Learning Phase of Entry Plan

Superintendent Dr. Lory Morrow Invites Parents and Employees to attend a Direct Connect Form to discuss educational issues that are important to our community.

Each Direct Connect Form will include a 4:00 pm meeting with teachers and staff followed by a parent meeting at 7:00 pm. The meetings are being held in centralized locations to accommodate all of the parents and employees of Davidson County Schools.

Superintendent Morrow recognizes the importance of establishing relationships and the meetings will give parents and employees the opportunity to share positive aspects about Davidson County Schools that make it a good place for students and identify areas of improvement to help strengthen schools.

“The meetings will give me the information I need to assess the school systems strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement,” Morrow said. “I’m looking forward to working together with parents, employees and community members toensure all students in the Davidson County school system receive a top quality education.”

Superintendent Morrow will host all of the meetings by the end of March. Morrow’s entry plan also includes meetings with the Board of Education, community leaders, central office staff and principals, as well as gathering and analyzing school and district data.
