Class was dismissed early today due to a large number of disruptions during class.  The time missed will be completed the week of May 28.  If student behavior does not improve, the class will end and students will have to re-enroll in either the June or July classes.  This class is a privilege offered by the school system and the NC DMV. Class will begin and end at normal time tomorrow, Wednesday.

****Payment should be given to Mrs. Pat Smith in the school office only after being admitted into the class on one of the first three days of the class.  Mr. Davis does not collect any of the fees.  We will not collect the fee before a student is actually in the class.  Again, DON'T send money until your student is seated in the class.

 Applications for the summer 2013 classes will be available beginning May 15 at LMS, Oak Grove MS, and LHS.  Applications are due to Mr. Davis no later than 3:30pm May 31.  The class list will be provided at each school by June 4. Students returning forms to LMS or OGMS must have them to Student Services at their respective middle school by May 30 so they are to Mr. Davis by May 31.

The parent/student signatures on applications indicate that the information was read and understood. This includes application due date, class times, class dates, and general rules for the class.   The top part of the application should be kept and only the bottom returned to Mr. Davis.

Parents and students should check the Frequently Asked Questions link and the original application for dates, times, policies, etc... before emailing or calling the school. 

Please do not call and ask for waivers of the attendance policy.  The state requires 30 hours in the classroom and 6 behind the wheel.  Responsibility is an important part of what the class is about, so please understand that we cannot meet everyone's needs, so we will stick with our attendance policy.
