   Many students experience excitement and anxiety when anticipating their transition into middle school.  We are pleased to announce a unique style of orientation for our rising 6th graders.  Funded by the PTSO, Knight Training Camp will offer students the opportunity to become familiar with North Davidson Middle School in a small-group setting.

  Using members of the sixth grade teaching staff, we will help the students familiarize themselves with staff members, students from other communities, our daily schedule, and the physical layout of the school building.  Activities will include getting-to-know-you games, a scavenger hunt, a mock class change with lockers, and a question/answer session.

Parents will also have activities.  You can  learn what to expect from you new middle school child, pay fees, recieve transportation information, and learn how to volunteer and be apart of your child's education.
