 Kindergarten :

  • Book Bag - large enough to hold a winter coat and one that your child can easily open and close alone.  Drawstrings are not recommended for kindergarten.  No rolling book bags due to safety concerns.
  • Crayons - skinny ones - 24 pack.
  • Large Crayola Washable Magic Markers - 8 primary colors.
  • 6 Elmer glue sticks - please do not get the liquid glue sticks.
  • Pencils - small pack #2 regular size.
  • Blunt-tip Fiskar scissors (These may be purchased at Walmart.  We ask that you buy the FISKAR brand as children are able to cut with them.)
  • Headphones - we recommend KOSS brand.  This brand is available at Walmart.  Headphones are required K-5 and will be returned at the end of the school year.  No ear buds please.
  • As you buy shoes for school please remember that we like for kindergarten students to wear tennis shoes.  This is for your child's safety on the playrgound as we climb and run during physical education.
  • Bound Marbled Composition Book (100 sheets/wide ruled - no wires or holes along the left side)

Below is a list of items needed.  We are asking that you purchase only the brands requested.  We have found that these are the best for our class rooms.  If you will watch for the sales, these brand name items can be purchase at a low cost.
