The artwork featured in the 2009-2010 Art Gallery was submitted by individual schools for the Superintendent's Art Choice Awards Competition.  Superintendent Fred Mock selected his top choice in three categories --- elementary school, middle school and high school.  The three winning art pieces are framed and hang for three years in the DCS board room in the administrative office. 

Sincere appreciation is expressed to all student artists for their individual contributions and to their teachers for their patience, teaching excellence, and mentoring.  Throughout the school year, students' artwork is on display at many community locations, including Arts United for Davidson County, area banks, restaurants, and coffee shops.
