On Club Days, the bells will operate normally. Please use this schedule to dismiss students for clubs and please check the spreadsheet that will be emailed by Mrs. Feezor for student participation in clubs.

** Lunches will be normal with the exception of students who are in the 3rd period clubs and have 4th lunch. Please check students’ clubs on the spreadsheet to determine whether they are in a club that meets 3rd period; if they are, and you have 4th lunch, please allow those students to go to 3rd lunch. If you have any other lunch, they will be fine and will not need to leave for 3rd lunch.

FCA: The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a club dedicated to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches by focusing on integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence. This student-led club meets Tuesday mornings in the Band Room at 7:30 for a time of fellowship and worship. Club advisors are Ms. Sink, Mrs. Cooney, and Mrs. Wood. All are welcome to attend.
Pep Club: PEP Club is designed around bringing school spirit back to WDHS. For too long we've been seeing a decline in spirit. If you think you have what it takes to make WDHS a more exciting place, join our club! Pep club will meet 3rd period during club days. If interested, see Mrs. Burkhart (503) or Mrs. Jones (504).
Art Club: Students interested in visual arts may join West Davidson's Art Club. To be a member, students need to have taken art in high school or be signed up for an art class for next semester. The club participates in the multicultural festival and sponsors an annual art contest. The art club will meet during 3rd period on club days. See Mrs. Hedrick for more information.
Spanish club: The Spanish Club is a great way to get involved with our community with projects like Campus Clean-Up, Spring Fling, and the Multicultural Festival. We also collect school supplies for young children in Costa Rica through our program Pens 4 Pals. We are committed to help enhance our world both at the local and international level. Prerequisite: studied or is currently studying Spanish or any World Language. The club will meet 3rd period on club days. Sign up on Senora Ponce’s door, room 508.
Science Club: Science club is sponsored by Mrs. Fichthorn. This club has taken trips in the past to Stone Mountain State Park, participated in “Clean Sweep” to protect part of the watershed, and has also competed in the Science Olympiad, a rigorous national science competition. The club will meet after school. Please sign up on Mrs. Fichthorn’s door, room 515, if you are one interested in science!
Tri-M: Tri-M is a National Music Honor Society. This club’s induction process includes an interview and audition. Students must have an maintain a high grade point average to be a part of this club, and must be enrolled in at least one music class at West Davidson. This organization will meet during 4th period on club days. If you are interested in being considered for this group, please see Ms. DiGioia in the band room.
FFA: FFA is an extended component of the agricultural education program. Any student enrolled in agriculture classes can be an FFA member. The West Davidson FFA Chapter is a part of the National Future Farmers of America Organization. The West Davidson FFA Chapter promotes and builds leadership skills and helps prepare students for agriculture related careers. Please see Mr. Long or Mrs. Wilson if interested. (room 25 and 26)
FCCLA: FCCLA stands for Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Members must have taken or be enrolled in a future class in the Family and Consumer Sciences Department. FCCLA will meet during 1st period on club days, as well as before and after school on scheduled days. See Ms. Megargee for further information (room 20).
STUDENT COUNCIL - WDHS Student Council accepts non-elected members to assist the Student Body Officers and Class Officers in planning for school events and activities in the community. These include Homecoming (Powder Puff Football Game, Dragon Fest), nursing home visits, homeless shelter visits, the Student-Faculty basketball game, the Talent Show, and other events we may schedule throughout the year. If you would like to serve on Student Council, there is an application process you must complete. These applications are available either outside Room 4 or in the cafeteria and must be submitted by Friday, August 31st. You will be notified on Tuesday, September 4th about your possible acceptance into Student Council. Please consider participating in this important organization!
HOSA: In order to participate in Health and Occupation Students of America, students need to have taken, or will be taking one of the Health Occupation classes. Sign up sheets and further information can be found outside Mrs. Spach’s room (Room 22), and Mrs. Beth Harris’ room (507).
