Club Information

Attention Students!!

Clubs are a wonderful opportunity to become involved in multiple activities within the school. It is time to begin thinking about the clubs you are interested in joining. Clubs will be meeting either during an advisory period, before school, or after school. Students can sign up for a club at the concession stand before school, or during lunches. There will also be sign-up sheets on the sponsor’s door. Sign up no later than Friday, September 6!

The following clubs are available at West Davidson this year:

FCA: The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a club dedicated to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches by focusing on integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.  This student-led club meets Tuesday mornings in the Band Room at 7:30 for a time of fellowship and worship. Club advisor is Mrs. Caine.  All are welcome to attend. (Club officers will have announced meetings during advisory periods, all others attend before school.)

Pep Club: PEP Club is designed around bringing school spirit back to WDHS.  For too long we've been seeing a decline in spirit.  If you think you have what it takes to make WDHS a more exciting place, join our club! If interested, see Mrs. Burkhart (503) or Mrs. Jones (504).

Spanish Club: The Spanish Club is a great way to get involved with our community with projects like Campus Clean-Up, Spring Fling, and the Multicultural Festival.  We also collect school supplies for young children in Costa Rica through our program Pens 4 Pals. We are committed to help enhance our world both at the local and international level.  Prerequisite: studied or is currently studying Spanish or any World Language. Sign up on Senora Ponce’s door, room 508.

Please sign up on Mrs. Fichthorn’s door, room 515, if you are one interested in science!

The West Davidson FFA Chapter is a part of the National Future Farmers of America Organization. The West Davidson FFA Chapter promotes and builds leadership skills and helps prepare students for agriculture related careers.  Please see Mrs. A. Wilson or Ms. Shaw if interested.
