Appalachian State University Summer Institute for Business and Leadership
The summer institute is for juniors who have a sincere interest in Business. The Martha Guy Summer Institute is a three week program. Students spend two weeks on campus and one week on an exploratory trip to Washington D.C. and New York City to learn about the world of business, develop professional skills and meet business leaders.

2010 Appalachian State Forensic Science Camp The Forensic Camp is an academic camp that requires a strong science background. This camp will prove beneficial for those students who are interested in pursuing a career as a forensic analyst or are curious about the field. Some points of interest are crime scene investigation, collecting evidence for future analysis and understanding fiber, hair, gun shot residues and laboratory analysis.

Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge at Wingate University The FELC is a 5 day residential program in which the students learn about free market economics and how to create businesses and marketing plans. This program also strongly promotes ethical leadership, personal responsibility and philanthropy.

Summer Engineering Course at Sweet Briar College Sweet Briar College is offering this Engineering program for girls in the sophomore, junior and senior classes for 2010-11. The students will earn 1 college credit for this program. The students will explore design testing, use three-dimensional computers and analysis software.

Food and Agribusiness Industries Summer Program The Food and Agribusiness is a residential program for rising juniors and seniors at NC A & T University. Students are exposed to careers in the food and agribusiness industry, one of the fastest growing careers in the country. Only 10 students will be selected for this prestigious program.
