“Oscar” Worthy Behavior

Mrs. Phillips & Mrs. Duncan’s Behavior Plan

Our behavior system this year consists of 5 stages.  Each student has a clip with their name on it.  Each day the student’s clip starts out on the “red carpet”.  When a student’s behavior becomes disruptive or unkind they will have to move their clip to “Take 1”.  At this level students have the ability to move back to the “red carpet” if their behavior turns around.  Each offense a student makes throughout the day will result in a student’s clip being moved to the appropriate level (ex. Take 1-Take 4).

Take 1! Verbal Warning, Remember to make better choices!

Take 2! Owe Mrs. Phillips 2 tickets

Take 3! Owe Mrs. Phillips 3 tickets, walk 3 laps at recess

Take 4! Owe Mrs. Phillips 5 tickets, walk 3 laps at recess, and note home to parents

Students are given tickets each day depending on their level of behavior for that day. 

Red Carpet = 3 tickets

Take 1! = 2 tickets

Take 2! = 1 ticket

No tickets are given to students at Take 3! Or Take 4!

Students may use their tickets on Fridays to redeem at my “concession stand”.

5 tickets – candy from the penny candy jar

10 tickets – choose a prize from the prize box or a coupon to bring a stuffed animal to school for a day

15 tickets – a coupon to sit with a friend all day

20 tickets – a coupon to write with markers all day

25 tickets – a coupon for lunch with a friend

Students may choose to spend or save their tickets each week.
