Mr. Dickens Homework Page
Thank You to all the parents who attended conferences. We will be scheduling more soon!
I am a graduate of East Rutherford High School and Winston-Salem State University. I have been married for 22 years to my wife, Traci. We have 3 sons, a Freshman at Campbell University, a Sophomore at DCCC and a Senior at Appalachian State University. I have been teaching math at Central Middle for 12 years, and in the past I have also taught Social Studies. As a point of interest, I went to Southmont Elementary School and then attended Central Davidson Jr. High.
Check out the useful links to help your student with their math. You might also investigate 5th and 6th grade tutorials or Click "Math Help" on the menu to the left.
To contact me, please e-mail me at:
or call me to set up a conference at 357-2310.
If you call for a conference, we will make every effort to inculde all of your students teachers.
Homework should be done after school or at home, not during homeroom!
I will keep homework assignments listed for 1 week on this page, otherwise I will leave a comprehensive list of all assignments on my other homework page shown on the menu located on the left side of this page.
December 2nd, Monday:Study for your quiz tomorrow. Use your study guide notes!
December 3rd, Tuesday: Students will take a quiz on fractions and begin working on dividing fractions.
December 4th, Wednesday: Students will complete their quiz and work on dividing fractions. They also received a recipe assignment.
November 28th, Thursday: School, Happy Thanksgiving!
November 29th, Friday: No School
You will find daily homework assignments on this page. If you are unsure about the completion of your students assignments, I have found that parents can help their students become more responsible by comparing my assignments to their students actual work. This is a good way to make sure that all assignments are being completed.
