Mr. Dickens Homework Page
Please come to the school and pick up your "Parent Portal" information. Get involved in your students education!
Students should be working with their parents to review the math packets. This will prepare them for their bell-ringers. Grades on bell-ringers are a reflection on how much time is being spent on review packets. A lot of students continue to recieve poor grades on fractions. Please help them!
I am a graduate of East Rutherford High School and Winston-Salem State University. I have been married for 22 years to my wife, Traci. We have 3 sons, a Freshman at Campbell University, a Sophomore at DCCC and a Senior at Appalachian State University. I have been teaching math at Central Middle for 12 years, and in the past I have also taught Social Studies. As a point of interest, I went to Southmont Elementary School and then attended Central Davidson Jr. High.
Check out the useful links to help your student with their math. You might also investigate 5th and 6th grade tutorials or Click "Math Help" on the menu to the left.
To contact me, please e-mail me at:
or call me to set up a conference at 357-2310.
If you call for a conference, we will make every effort to inculde all of your students teachers.
Homework should be done after school or at home, not during homeroom!

You will find daily homework assignments on this page. If you are unsure about the completion of your students assignments, I have found that parents can help their students become more responsible by comparing my assignments to their students actual work. This is a good way to make sure that all assignments are being completed.
