Important Information for all AP students: Every student enrolled in an AP course must take the AP exam in order to receive AP weighted credit. If you do not take the exam, you will receive Honors weight instead.

AP EXAM REVIEW STUDENT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Enrollment Code: Get the code from your teacher or Mrs. Allen

1. Go to the website above.
2. If you are a returning user who has previously registered to use another Apex Learning product, type in your username and password and click Login Now. Then, skip to step 4.
3. If you are a new user to Apex Learning, click Register Here and proceed through the registration process.
4. Once you've successfully registered and written down your username and password, click the Go to My School button.
5. When you arrive on the My School page, click Enroll in a Course. When prompted, enter the enrollment code above and click Submit.
6. Once you've completed enrolling, return to the My School page, click Run System Checkup in the Tools area on the left to make sure your computer is ready for AP Exam Review.
7. Next, click Orientation in the Tools area, then click Student Guided Tour to find out how AP Exam Review works.
8. To access AP Exam Review in the future, go to the same website above, type in your username and password, and click Login Now. When you arrive at the My School page, click your subject name under Current Enrollments.

After you've completed registering, your username and password will be emailed to you.

APEX ONLINE REVIEW (free to Davidson County AP students)

AP Exam Review is an online test preparation resource that prepares students for the Advanced Placement* exams. Like other test prep resources, AP Exam Review provides students opportunities for practice on questions typical of those found on the actual exam. However, AP Exam Review goes considerably beyond typical test prep. Diagnostic assessments provide a way for students to determine their own level of proficiency and identify areas that require more study. Going a step further, AP Exam Review includes the actual instructional material to assist a student in building skills and developing conceptual understanding. Personalized study plans that are generated based on performance on the diagnostic tests direct each student to the relevant material for further study to ensure that he or she is well-prepared for success on the AP exam.

AP Exam Review begins by identifying a student's strengths and weaknesses. Computer-scored online diagnostic assessments are aligned to the College Board's exam topics and assess student knowledge for each topic covered on the AP exam.

Next, results from the diagnostics are used to create a personalized study plan. Students can immediately see how well they performed on each topic and can quickly identify where they need to spend more time. The study plan also prescribes specific instructional materials to address areas of weakness.

*NOTE:  AP students may begin using the review in November.  AP teachers will provide their students with login instructions.  In late February, teachers will have access to the classroom instructional sections and can use the online program as an additional homework or classroom resource.  Students have access to the review questions until mid-May or after the AP exams are concluded.
