We Are In NEED

It has been said when electronic messages are in Bold and in all caps, the writer is shouting. We are shouting for help so to speak. We are in need of at least one full-time  and several substitute bus drivers. Our pool of those available has grown shallow and this often leads to late pickups and late arrivals. If you are interested the process begins with a brief conversation with Paula Justice at the Middle School or with Dr. Richardson at the High School.

Transportation and Safety

Please note that the addition of school buses parking on our lot now has changed the traffic and parking flow for our campus. Please pickup and drop off students at the main entrance on the Jesse Greene Road side of school.

Should you arrive before 4:20 PM for extracurricular activities, please recognize that buses will still be out on route and will need to park in the main lot in their spaces.

Please do not move through the main lot while students are exiting the building and loading buses.

Online Safety

An issue that we often are confronted with as educators is conflict supported by online avenues of communication. Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and instant messaging are used by so many of our students. These sites have a positive side, but a dark side as well. As a school, these outside influences become a part of our frame of reference when they disrupt the learning environment we seek to maintain. The best defense is educating our students and parents with the knowledge of what constitutes issues like "cyberbullying". At the end of this paragraph, you will find a website that can serve as a guide for our community in confronting this issue. Cyber-Savvy Teens. pdf. located in document manager. A parent's guide to the digital world your teen travels through.
