This issue is a hot button issue for today's society receiving extra emphasis by the media. Often incidents get classified as bullying and do not fit the accepted definition by specialists and the legal community. It is important that Parents stay up with current readings on the subject, because the impact of bullying behavior can take a dramatic turn not wanted by anyone. The following link will take parents to the Common Sense Media Website and an article exploring the issue of cyberbullying. I encourage you to read the article and talk to your student about these practices. It is an issue that we confront often and it is not an issue that is easy to moderate since most of the time it is outside of our boundaries.
