FIELDS KNOW IF YOU ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN GRADUATION MAY 23, 2013 SENIOR AWARDS PRACTICE 8:30 AM NEW GYM MAY 24, 2013 SENIOR AWARDS ASSEMBLY 8:30 AM (Full Graduation Attire) NEW GYM JUNE 14, 2013 Graduation Practice 9:00AM (Required) @ St. Peter’s World Outreach Center Distribution of graduation tickets. JUNE 15, 2013 Graduation Ceremony 9:00 AM – Doors open @ 8:00AM Students arrive no later than 8:00AM Do not bring any personal belongings. A bin will be provided for keys.
IMPORTANT GRADUATION INFORMATION
1. This year’s graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday morning, June 15, 2013 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at St. Peter’s World Outreach Center in Winston-Salem. 2. Each senior will receive 8 tickets for family and friends. Even if they will be sitting on an adult’s lap, all children will need a ticket so please limit your guests to 8 per graduate. Seating is on a first-come basis. Handicap seating is available. Parking is extremely limited so please carpool when possible.
3. Please plan to take photographs of your graduate before or after the ceremony, as NO spectators may leave their seats for photographs. 4. The dress code for Awards Day and Graduation will be strictly enforced. Girls are to wear dresses that will not hang out at the hem of the gown. GIRLS should wear black dress shoes with back, no flip flops that will be appropriate for walking across the stage. Boys are to wear white shirts with collars, black dress pants, black dress shoes, no flip flops, and dark ties. No shorts, jeans, khaki pants, tennis shoes or boots will be allowed. If you are not properly dressed, you will not be allowed to participate. We would also appreciate your cooperation in appropriate dress for this special occasion.
5. Any senior who refuses to follow the regulations, fails to practice, or chooses not to participate may pick up his or her diploma in the school office on the Monday after graduation, as long as all monies owed to the school or its organizations have been paid. Please let Mrs. McGhee or Mrs. Fields know by Friday, May 15, if you do not plan to participate in graduation. 6. A professional videographer will have graduation DVD’s for sale of the entire graduation program.
