the Middle School component of 

Project Lead the Way 

The Purpose of Project Lead the Way is to educate students in Engineering and Technology in order to prepare them for the needed 21st Century skills for school and the workplace. Students will experience a mix of hands on and computer learning.

The first GTT course students will take is Design & Modeling.  This class will introduce students to how engineers work and what they do.  Students will learn the Design Process and how to create artifacts using computer aided drafting (AutoDesk Inventor).

After successfully completing Design and Modeling students may move into Automation and Robotics.  In this class students will learn how robotics is used in manufacturing.  They will also learn how to build with Vex Robots and how to program them using RobotC programming language.
