Clear Bag Procedure & FAQs

To help ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors, Davidson County Schools will implement a new Clear Bag Procedure effective Monday, November 10th.

Under this new procedure, individuals attending middle and high school athletic events held on Davidson County Schools campuses will only be permitted to bring bags that meet the following guidelines:

Approved Bags:
Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12")
One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags
Small clutch bags (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5")
Clear bags may have one logo imprint not exceeding 4.5" x 3.4"

Non-Approved Bags:
Backpacks, printed plastic bags, large tote bags, reusable grocery totes, duffle bags, drawstring bags, laptop cases, fanny packs, and wagons.

Exceptions will be made for credentialed media, individuals with necessary medical items, and parents/guardians with diaper bags when accompanied by an infant or toddler, following proper inspection.

We appreciate your cooperation and support in maintaining a safe environment for all who attend Davidson County Schools athletic events.
