Digital Learning Dashboard - Parent Survey Information
Digital Learning Dashboard Parent Survey: North Carolina General Assembly Session Law 115C-102.9 requires for the collection and reporting of data regarding all student's access to digital devices and internet access at home. The data collection is part of the annual North Carolina Digital Learning and Media Inventory (NCDLMI) process. The Digital Device survey is new this year and is housed in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
The survey may be accessed by signing in to Parent Portal in PowerSchool, where parents will see the Digital Device Survey link at the bottom left of the Navigation toolbar.
Principals have included information about this Digital Device survey in their weekly school messages. Parents have until June 30, 2024, to complete this survey. Please know that it is an optional survey to complete but we hope to gather as many responses as possible. Information about the Digital Learning Dashboard has been pushed out to all Davidson County Schools individual school websites in addition to this notice.
Parents are encouraged to direct questions to the Media Coordinator at your child's school. We appreciate the support of parents in helping gather information to help support the digital teaching and learning needs of our students and teachers. This information gained from the survey will be used to help target areas of need and ensure that all of our students have adequate access to devices and the internet to access learning. The information gathered will be kept private and confidential.
NOTE: Unfortunately, this survey cannot be completed in the PowerSchool Parent Portal App. It may be completed on a computer or a web browser (not the app browser version) on your device.
