- To have an integral part in the improvement of education for all students in the Davidson County Public Schools.
- To assist in job stability for all teacher assistants employed by the Davidson CountyPublic Schools.
- To have a voice in the decisions which affect the members of the Davidson County Teacher Assistant Association.
- To establish and maintain a closer relationship with the Central Office Administration Personnel.
