How are board members selected?

The Board consists of five school district residents who serve overlapping, four-year terms. Members may be re-elected to serve consecutive or non-consecutive terms. Board members are elected at the state-wide general election in November. Any registered voter who lives in the Davidson County school district may vote in school board elections.
