Department Overview

The Davidson County Schools Elementary Curriculum Department is committed to providing students with a developmentally appropriate, rigorous curriculum designed to educate the whole child beginning in pre-school. Our goal is to prepare children for life beyond school and to prepare children to become contributing members of the community.

We are committed to collaborating with principals and teachers to support the use of evidence-based instruction and the use of data to enable instruction that meets the needs of each child. We work to align curriculum and provide resources that align to the North Carolina State Standards.
