The district has purchased a Student Accident Insurance Plan for the 2020-2021 school year, which is excess to any primary insurance a student may have. This plan is a limited benefit plan and is not offered to cover all medical treatment. It is in place to supplement the insurance coverage you have.
Medical treatment can be very costly so Davidson County is also offering Voluntary coverage to help supplement the costs of medical treatment. These plans are not meant to cover 100% of the medical bills for an accident or injury, however, it is additional coverage at minimal cost should an accident or injury occur. If you do not have insurance or would like to supplement your current coverage, these plans can help!
