Our DCS Digital Learning Modules are designed to feature a variety of the instructional technology resources available to you. Please check back regularly for new training modules! Each course is worth .1 CEU (one hour) Digital Learning Credit.
 
**Note: Credit earned from these modules will be directly reported to HR on a quarterly basis throughout the year. These credits should NOT be recorded on your school umbrella form.**
 
Course artifacts are reviewed and may need revision depending on your feedback. You will receive an email notification upon the successful completion of the modules. More information is available once you enroll in Canvas by selecting a module below.

Course Description:

This module will provide participants with an overview of EVERFI- a resource that provides free K-12 digital literacy courses in order to promote learning real-world skills.

 

Note: In order to receive digital literacy credit for this module, participants must implement an EVERFI course in their classroom. Please preview the course offerings from EVERFI to determine whether this module will be appropriate for you.

 
Course Description:
This online training course will provide users with an overview of the Canvas Learning Management System. Canvas can help you create a seamless online course for your students. Grades for assignments and quizzes export directly to your PowerSchool Gradebook. 
 
Note: This course will be specifically designed for high school educators, currently only our high school students have subscriptions for the Canvas LMS.

Discovery Education provides Interactive Courses that can be taken for .1 CEU credit each.
