To guide educators as they infuse new skills and tools into their instruction and to nurture their belief in themselves as they realize their potential to become a true 21st Century Learner and Teacher.

Goals

To Help Educators Become Comfortable with New Technology Skills

I strive to determine educators’ needs and develop meaningful professional development that will further their Technology and 21st Century Skills and spark enthusiasm about technology infusion in the classroom.

To Help Educators Infuse Technology Skills

I strive to support teachers as they bring their classrooms into the 21st Century by using assessment data to determine, locate and share interactive technology resources and tools, and assist in the planning and delivery of technology rich lessons in the classroom.

To Help Educators Infuse 21st Century Skills

I strive to locate resources that will blend Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking and Life and Career Skills with educators' curriculum as they cover the 5 themes.

To Help Educators Become Strong Digital Citizens

I strive to model ethical behavior in all aspects of my job as I help educators understand the importance of their digital footprint and learn ethical and safe practices when using technology in the classroom and teaching students those same principals.

To Help Educators Become Globally Aware

I strive to support educators as they work to bring global awareness into the classroom by reaching outside the walls of the school to find other areas and cultures for teachers to connect with.

To Help Educators Work with Students of all Needs

I strive to support teachers as they differentiate lessons and implement instructional design principals with students of all learning styles and physical and intellectual abilities by locating resources and assisting in developing lessons for differentiated learning.

To Help Myself Gain a Broader Knowledge of Instructional Technology

I strive to learn as much as possible about the skills and philosophies I teach educators by participating in trainings, conferences, seminars, webinars and professional learning communities to gather skills, ideas and resources to bring back to my schools.
