Teacher Website Guidelines
Required Items
- First and Last Name (no nicknames)
- Professional Image - Yearbook Photo, Image in the classroom, etc. (please refrain from using images like Family pictures, vacation pictures, etc.)
- Professional Background - Degrees earned, teaching background
- Contact Information - Share available contact hours or time windows
- Class or Daily Schedule
- Classroom Expectation and Procedures
- Important Dates for your Classes
- Grading Procedures - You can also link to your Department Page
Optional Items
- Website Links
- Homework
- Documents and Forms
Outside Sources
- Class Assignments/Projects - if applicable
- Possible Launch to Outside Instructional Tools (i.e Canvas, Google Docs or Folders, Google Classroom, Remind 101, Weebly)
Adding a professional photo
- Teachers need to add their photo (in a professional setting) to their “Profile” under the Account drop-down
- This is necessary for teacher photos to populate the staff directory
- Teachers may upload additional optional photos on their teacher page
